3 Mevo Kedem Street, Hod HaSharon

A Tripolitan home-cooking restaurant on Mevo Kedem Street in Hod HaSharon, with daily stews, a grill and ready-made food for Friday.

From Sunday to Friday the cook Eli Sarusi, who learned to cook in his mother's kitchen, sets out pots of Tripolitan stews here, alongside meats from the grill. The pots change daily and include tbecha with chard and white beans, beef and chicken patties in a sauce that changes each day, couscous with vegetable soup, beef with peas, mafrum and stuffed vegetables, with homemade salads, hot sides and old-style brown bread. Chicken thighs, schnitzel and chicken breast come on the plate or in a baguette. It also cooks for family events and sells ready-made food for Friday, when it is open until 15:30.
