Noor is a Druze restaurant in the centre of Julis, set up by Basma Hino, an IDF widow, and named after her son, Noor. Its Rest listing says it pairs a Western menu for local diners with an authentic Druze one for visitors who want to taste the community's food, served at lunch and dinner in traditional dishes. The Druze side runs to salads, lamb, mutton and spring chicken from Basma's kitchen and soft stuffed vine and cabbage leaves; children get small schnitzels and mini kebabs, and the meal ends with desserts and the black coffee Basma makes.
