Bazelet is a kosher meat restaurant in the Hutzot HaGolan shopping centre in Katzrin, in a room that looks out over the Golan landscape and has the brewery of Bazelet beer at its centre, its tanks of fresh beer in view. Its site says the meat comes straight from its own boutique plant in Dalton: locally raised premium cuts, aged at length and grilled, from skewers to aged prime cuts. With them it pours the boutique wines of the Kamisa winery, and the menu runs from house focaccia and a charcoal-grilled aubergine to a 300-gram aged steak, lamb chops and hot platters to share, with beer by the third, the half and the full litre. By its own account its kashrut is mehadrin under the Badatz Beit Yosef, and it closes on Fridays and Saturdays.
