Rak Hummus opened in 2014 in the industrial zone of Katzrin, in the Paz filling station compound on Barnea Street. By its site, everything is made on the spot: hummus dishes, unusual toppings, and the dish it calls its flagship, "our sabich", with a malabi it tells guests not to leave without. On Tuesdays it adds a one-day special, always built on its hummus with unusual toppings, announced on its Facebook and Instagram pages. On weekday evenings the same compound hosts Rak BaLaila, which its site describes as a cocktail bar married to a chef's restaurant, with fresh fish, handmade pasta and produce from Golan farmers, in three rooms: the main dining room, a separate bar room and seats outside.
