Couronne Patisserie is a French-style patisserie and café founded by Atar Torna, who was born on Kibbutz Lohamei HaGeta'ot and trained as a pastry chef in France before coming home to open a small patisserie in the heart of the kibbutz. Breads, desserts and classic French pastries are baked on the spot every day: fresh croissants, classic desserts, celebration cakes and platters for hosting. The bright, many-windowed building stands in a garden with lawns, with seats inside and out. It also hosts a Parisian-style tea hour for a small number of guests, booked ahead, and runs a smaller grab-and-go branch, Petite Couronne, in the Evrona compound at Kibbutz Evron.
