The Eco-Campus is the sustainable neighbourhood of Kibbutz Lotan's Center for Creative Ecology, where guests sleep in air-conditioned mud domes of artistic design. Its pages count nine or ten domes, each with a double bed that can be split and room for a couple and up to three children, or four single beds. Toilets, which are composting toilets, and showers are shared, outside the domes, and to keep the price low the beds come without sheets, towels or blankets, which guests bring or rent. Guests cook for themselves in a shared, vegetarian kitchen without fish, with solar ovens, a mud taboon for pizzas and focaccia, a vegetable grill, a rocket stove and biogas, and there are corners for a campfire. The kibbutz pool, open between Passover and Sukkot, the Eco-Kef park and its free self-guided tour are part of the stay.
