Kibbutz Merom Golan, Merom Golan

A beer-and-sausage restaurant in the middle of Kibbutz Merom Golan that makes its own sausages and beer, open on Friday and Saturday

Norden, which its site glosses as 'northern', is a restaurant in Kibbutz Merom Golan serving locally roasted coffee and beer and sausages made on the premises. Its site describes a relaxed place for a stop on a northern holiday, a get-together of friends or a family celebration with the children, with morning coffee under the mountain, brunch, and homemade sausages and meat at lunch and dinner. It brews its own beers in several styles, has vegetarian and vegan dishes, delivers across the northern Golan from Odem and El Rom to Ein Zivan and Kibbutz Ortal, and brings food trucks to events. Globes reported that it had been open in Merom Golan for three months when the war broke out, and Haaretz's article on it was headlined 'Love sausages? Head north to Kibbutz Merom Golan'.
