Beresheet is Isrotel's luxury hotel at the edge of Mitzpe Ramon, built so that its architecture blends into the desert landscape on the rim of the Makhtesh Ramon crater. Its 111 rooms are spread across the desert ground overlooking the crater, and guests can choose a room with a private pool or with a panoramic balcony. The hotel says its infinity pool was named the most beautiful pool in the world; the pool area is open all year, though the outdoor pool is closed for swimming in January and February. There are a Carmel Forest spa, the Rosemarine restaurant, which cooks with local produce, a gym, a tennis court, a cinema and meeting halls, and guests park in perimeter car parks and are driven to the main building in golf carts.
