Ibex calls itself a boutique place to stay with a hotel standard, on a quiet street of the Spice Route Quarter, a former industrial area of Mitzpe Ramon turned into a lively quarter of restaurants, cafés and galleries. Its salon compound has six private rooms, three doubles and three family rooms, around a shared lounge with a knights' table, a coffee corner and seating areas, and sleeps up to 18; across the yard are three two-storey garden units with kitchenettes and a 50-square-metre suite. Its café seats about 45 and serves brunch, light meals and sandwiches, with jams, breads, spreads and cakes made in house by its cook, and dinners for groups of more than 20 when booked ahead. There is no pool, and groups can book activities through the staff.
