AKA Sushi Bar says it is the oldest Asian restaurant in Modi'in, open for about 14 years, and that its owners have worked in it all that time. The kitchen mixes Japanese, Chinese and Thai dishes, with a menu built by a Japanese culinary consultant: miso and ramen soups, ceviche, gyoza, noodles and rice plates, seafood and a long sushi list from hosomaki to sashimi and set combinations. The bar serves Japanese drinks, classic cocktails and frozen margaritas made on the spot from fresh fruit. It is a family place, welcoming to children, with a wide terrace and a Far Eastern design, open every day from noon to 23:30, and it delivers for orders over 60 shekels.
