Luna Bistro is on Tawfiq Ziad Street in the Big Fashion centre, run by Luna Zraik, a Nazareth native who owns it and heads the kitchen; before it she ran the Cafe Cafe franchise in the same centre. Its site says she gathered the recipes one by one from the food she grew up on, and that every dish is made by hand from fresh local produce, mostly by local women in the kitchen. The menu opens with mezze such as baba ghanoush, stuffed vine leaves and masabacha and goes on to shishbarak, maqluba, lamb mansaf and al-maashouka, meatballs with dates and rose water. The room is done in a modern Nazarene style, with a large indoor hall and an outdoor terrace over the city.
