Rosemary was opened in 2014 by Gassan Touma, from Nazareth, at Mary's Well. Its site says the building was an old hammam, more than 200 years old, whose original stone can still be seen. Inside, the decor mixes vintage and retro, and the oak tables look onto baskets of fresh vegetables and the chef at work; outside there are tables among olive trees beside the well. The menu runs from breakfast shakshuka to chicken, fish, seafood, pasta and pizza, and the meat is local and aged in a dry-ager and sold by weight; the site names meat, cigars, wine, coffee and sweets as its specialities. Its sister café, Rose Boutique Cafe, is a minute's walk away.
