Kibbutz Neot Semadar, Neot Semadar

The eco guest rooms of Kibbutz Neot Semadar, double rooms and mud cabins on a green hill a kilometre outside the kibbutz, facing the mountains of Edom

Neot Semadar's guest rooms stand on a green hill among olive, apricot and almond trees, about a kilometre outside the kibbutz, which lies some 60 km north of Eilat near Shizafon Junction. The members of the community built the compound themselves from natural materials, with double rooms and four mud cabins for families, a shared dining hall, kitchens, a movement hall and gardens, and they ask guests for quiet: no loud music, no television, and a vegetarian space. A stay comes with a free visit to the kibbutz's art centre and winery, and guests can add guided stargazing, workshops, yoga and body treatments, or meals from Thursday to Saturday. The compound also hosts groups for workshops, retreats and team days, and in 2025 UN Tourism named Neot Semadar one of its Best Tourism Villages.
