A large Asian restaurant and sushi bar of the Kiso group, in the West Lagoon hotel by the sea on Netanya's southern promenade, open every day since 2018

Ni-Shi is a large Asian restaurant and sushi bar in the West Lagoon Resort hotel on Oved Ben Ami Boulevard, on Netanya's southern seafront. It opened in the first days of June 2018 as the Netanya restaurant of the Kiso group of Asian restaurants, which began with Fu Sushi in Tel Aviv and also runs Kiso in Kiryat Ono and Nooch in Ramat HaSharon; Walla and Haaretz named its owners that year as Amir Vadash, Rotem Tahan and Noam Gabay, with Yoav Bliman as the group's chef, and mako still counted it among the Kiso group's restaurants in October 2024 and April 2025. Its name means "west" in Japanese, mako and Walla wrote. When it opened, mako described 500 square metres with 130 seats inside and an outdoor area for another 100, and in January 2023 a colourful mosaic wall at the entrance, a huge bar and a half-open kitchen. It calls itself a contemporary Asian restaurant that pairs traditional Asian food with an innovative cocktail bar, a place for families and friends or a date at the bar. Its menu crosses Asia, from yellowtail ceviche, toro tartare, pani puri and a goose jianbing with Mandarin pancakes to gyoza, bao buns, pho, miso ramen and tom yam, Seoul noodles, pad thai and massaman curry, butter chicken with naan and charcoal-grilled Chicken Laos, with a sushi bar of rolls, sashimi and combination platters, a children's menu and desserts. It opens every day, Friday and Saturday included, takes table bookings through Tabit, delivers and sells takeaway through its own ordering page and Wolt, and takes orders for party trays. mako's critic, writing as Beitza Aluma a month after it opened, found the menu sprawling but almost every dish tasty and generous, at a level Tel Aviv restaurants should aim for; in April 2025 mako's Lin Levi named it, with Bar Italia and Maree, among the few up-to-date places in the city. Bar Italia, the Pomo group's Italian brasserie, is its neighbour in the same hotel.

Sources disagree on these hours

Its Hebrew website says it is open seven days a week: Sunday to Wednesday from 12:00 to 22:30, Thursday and Saturday until 23:30 and Friday until 23:00; it gives no opening time for Thursday to Saturday, and every other source opens at 12:00 on those days. Its English pages give 12:00 to 23:30 every day but Friday, which closes at 23:00. Its Google listing, as Wanderlog copies it and as the copy in its Tabit record of 2 September 2026 gives it, has Sunday to Wednesday until 23:00, Thursday until 23:30, Friday until 23:00 and Saturday until midnight, and its Tabit record closes at 23:00 on Saturday. Its Wolt page delivers from 11:15 on Sunday to Thursday and from 12:00 on Friday and Saturday, until 23:00, or 23:30 on Thursday and Saturday.
