A volunteer-run community bar in a greenhouse over the old silage pit of Nordia's dairy, with cocktails, draught beer and a snooker table.
Nordiani Bar began on the spur of the moment in the coronavirus years and became Nordia's permanent community bar, according to its page on the Lev HaSharon tourism site. It stands in what was the silage pit of the moshav's dairy, which moved to kibbutz HaMa'apil in 2007: a large greenhouse now covers the concrete, with high bar tables and lower ones, a yard with picnic tables and a mural in memory of two fallen soldiers, David Sasson and Omer Smadja. Volunteers run it, and all the takings go to keeping the place going. It pours cocktails, two draught beers and eight bottled beers, with snacks, a snooker table and a big screen, and its branding carries the face of Ze'ev Jabotinsky, in a community founded by the Betar movement. The space also holds holidays, children's shows, lectures and meetings, for up to 150 people.
