17 HaMif'al Street, Or Yehuda

A large kosher charcoal-grill restaurant in Or Yehuda's industrial zone, opened in 2010 by a family whose grandfather founded the Khan HaDekel banquet halls.

Abdalla opened in 2010 and, by its site, stands for three generations of the family's food: the grandfather, Abdalla, founded the Khan HaDekel halls in the early 1970s. The house salads are made in the restaurant every day without preservatives, the laffa comes hot from a taboon, and the cuts go through the restaurant's own ageing room before they reach the charcoal grill. A private room takes events of up to a hundred people, and a deli beside the restaurant sells prepared food on Thursdays and Fridays. Mako's 2025 guide to Or Yehuda describes a new, handsome grill house with a host at the door and, outside, Abdalla Express, a counter with two shawarma spits. ICE's reviewer wrote in January 2025 that it is the restaurant the locals keep flocking to.
