The town's tourism site calls the Tunisian sandwich Ramla's pride, and says that a local who cannot place Shlomo HaMelech Boulevard will point the way at once to Eli's Tunisian sandwich. At Eli Levi's, the fricassee roll, somewhere between a bread roll and a doughnut, is part of the tradition: it is spread with sauces from Grandpa Momo's recipes and filled with hard-boiled egg, tuna, boiled potato, preserved lemon, vegetable salad and black and green olives, with capers for the purists and harissa for the brave. On Mondays and Tuesdays it makes couscous. The tourism site gives its address as 4 Shlomo HaMelech Boulevard; the religious council's list gives 3.
