The Well (הבאר) is a cocktail bar with a chef's kitchen at 17 Rothschild Street, on the street's pedestrian stretch in the old centre of Rishon LeZion. mako announced its opening on 1 September 2025: a new cocktail bar whose Mediterranean menu, it wrote, suits a restaurant more than a bar, set inside an old well of Baron Rothschild in a building about 140 years old, with a menu built by chef Asaf Stern, cocktails mixed from extracts and syrups with molecular techniques, and a DJ at weekends. Its building stands next to the one called the Well House (בית הבאר), with a historic water tower about 20 metres away. On its booking page it calls itself a cocktail bar with a menu of Mediterranean chef's dishes, fresh cooking from the best produce in Israel, and cocktails from natural syrups made on the premises, and its drinks list says every cocktail is made in its own lab. Several dishes come off a Josper charcoal oven, from an aubergine carpaccio to sea bass, sirloin and a steak of the day sold by weight, beside beef baklava, beef fillet tartare on brioche, egg-yolk linguine and red tuna sashimi; each of its six cocktails costs 64 shekels. It opens in the evening from Sunday to Thursday, with 15% off the whole menu between 18:00 and 20:00 from Sunday to Wednesday, serves Friday lunch until 16:30 and opens again at 21:30 on Saturday night. In April 2026 Ontopo's magazine included it among ten bars it recommends in Rishon LeZion, for its mixology and a dim room whose music builds through the night, and the food blog Debbest listed it among the restaurant openings of 2025.

These are the hours on its booking page, read on 1 October 2026; from Sunday to Wednesday the first two hours, 18:00 to 20:00, come with 15% off the whole menu. The page says it answers WhatsApp at any hour and the phone from 14:00. When mako reported its opening on 1 September 2025 it printed Monday to Thursday from 19:00, Friday 12:00 to 15:30 and Saturday night after Shabbat until midnight, and its d.co.il listing gives Sunday to Thursday 07:30 to 19:30 and Friday 09:00 to 13:00.
