A new kosher dairy restaurant on Herzl Street, opened by a 22-year-old owner, with a breakfast menu by day and a different menu in the evening.
Mila opened around the end of 2025. Mako's guide to Sderot of June 2026 says its owner, Michal Trainis, then 22, had dreamed of a café of her own since she was 14, saved for it, planned it during her army service and opened it half a year before the piece, with chef Snir Avraham guiding the kitchen. She told Mako she wanted the city to have a place for dates, somewhere people dress up for. The breakfast menu, new in spring 2026, has a green shakshuka with hummus and a brioche with hollandaise, a poached egg and salmon; in the evening the menu changes to dishes such as fish kebab, beet risotto and fish cigars.
