The Tel Aviv branch, on Nachmani Street, of a pastry maker that began in Kfar Vitkin in 1990 and is known for its cheesecake

Ben Ami is a pastry maker founded in Kfar Vitkin by the pastry chef Ben Ami Bartini Shavit, who learned to bake from his grandmother Zehava; its well-known cheesecake, Savta Zehava, is named after her. It began trading in 1990, moved to the Or Akiva industrial zone in 2008 and was bought in 2014 by the Natali Plus group. Its site lists three shops, in Or Akiva, Herzliya and Tel Aviv, and a range of round and loaf cakes, yeast cakes, cookies, personal desserts and savoury pastries, with dairy, parve, vegan, keto and no-added-sugar lines. The Tel Aviv shop, on Nachmani Street, is open from Sunday to Thursday from 7:30 to 16:00 and on Friday until 14:00.
