A plant-based café at 130 Dizengoff Street, opened by the team behind Café Anastasia, with sandwiches, salads and pastries made without animal products

Anicca is the newer café of the people behind Café Anastasia, which its site calls the first vegan café in Israel, opened at the corner of Frishman and Reines Streets eleven years before Anicca. Five years into Anastasia they opened their own production kitchen, where they make cashew cheeses, breads, quiches and desserts, and Anicca's menu is built on it: sandwiches such as a mung dal omelette on spelt challah, salads, bowls, pastas and pastries, all from plants. It is open from 08:30 to 23:00 from Sunday to Thursday and until 16:30 on Friday, and its booking page lists 30 percent off alcohol from 20:00 on weekday evenings.
