Tamati is a small coffee shop with an espresso bar at 12 HaCarmel Street, beside the Carmel Market. Its site says it was founded about ten years ago by Miki, who began in coffee in 2000 at the Espresso Bar chain's King George branch and later owned its branch at Rothschild and Herzl, and his wife, a professional barista whom he nicknamed Tamati and after whom the shop is named. It sells its own coffee blends, as beans or ground, single origins such as Ethiopia Yirgacheffe, capsules, moka pots and coffee machines, and ships orders. It opens early, at 06:00 from Sunday to Friday, and closes at 15:00 on Friday.
