ISLA is a pod hotel at 27 Montefiore Street, near the corner of Allenby Street, that its site calls an island of serenity in the middle of the city. Guests sleep in shared rooms of six pods, some kept for women and three mixed, or in private pods of 14 square metres with a double bed, a private shower and a smart television. Each shared pod has a reclining bed, a curtain, its own light and charging point and an electronic locker. Reception checks guests in from 15:00 until 22:00, later arrivals let themselves in, and bags can be left in a free luggage room at any hour. Towels and natural toiletries are provided, and the site explains how to come by bus from the central bus station.
