B12 was opened by people who had spent years behind the scenes of well-known Tel Aviv restaurants, as a neighbourhood meat eatery with fresh beer and a serious bar. Its site says it works with fresh Israeli meat aged on site according to each cut, cooked in iron ovens that burn no charcoal, and served with house chimichurri, very hot mustard and tomatoes. The sides are kept to a fresh salad and a baked potato with spiced butter, with a chocolate mousse made on site, and almost every day there are specials such as pork belly, lamb neck or stuffed cabbage. It also runs a butcher's counter, and its site points drivers to the Givon car park.
