An Italian-American restaurant on Ben Gurion Boulevard, serving what Italian families in New York eat

Guido serves Italian-American food: not what is served in Rome or Milan, its site says, but what families of Italian descent in New York and New Jersey have eaten for more than a century. That means comfort food, long cooking and generosity, in dishes such as spaghetti with meatballs, chicken parmesan and Caesar salad. Its site says it is no chef's restaurant and is a little proud of it, serving homely food and simple wine and trying to be generous in both portions and prices. It is open every day from noon.
