A Jewish restaurant on Dizengoff Street that has served Ashkenazi home cooking since 1945

Keton has been a warm home for Jewish food since 1945, and its site calls it a nostalgic part of the history of Israel and of Tel Aviv. The menu is homely and unpretentious, built on simplicity: chopped liver, gefilte fish, chicken soup with kneidlach, stuffed cabbage, goulash and roast goose. It is open every day from noon, and its site says it means to carry the tradition on for as long as people need the feeling of a warm home.
