An Asian restaurant by two childhood friends from Jaffa, in a historic stone building in Old Jaffa

Jasia is an Asian restaurant in Old Jaffa, at 9 Louis Pasteur Street. Its site says it grew out of a shared dream of two childhood friends, both born in Jaffa, who wanted a place that joins worlds, flavours and cultures. The kitchen brings together Japanese, Thai, Indian and Chinese cooking with touches from the home kitchens they grew up on: careful sushi, wok dishes and combinations of its own. The restaurant sits in a historic stone building that belongs to the Greek Orthodox Church, among stone arches, and its booking page says a gallery for up to 40 guests can be taken for private events.
