Old School Pilates Studio teaches classical Pilates, the Contrology method that Joseph Pilates created, in a back courtyard at 2 Har Sinai Street in the heart of Tel Aviv. It was founded and is owned by Hadar Rahamim, who has taught the classical method since 2017 and trained with teachers from abroad, among them Jay Grimes, a student of Joseph Pilates. The studio is equipped with Balanced Body's Contrology apparatus, which its site says is an exact copy of the original equipment, and classes are held in small groups of up to seven people, divided by level from beginners to advanced. It also gives private and duet lessons, which its site suggests for people returning from an injury or anyone who wants to go deeper into the method.
