1.בעתירה זו נדרשו המשיבים ליתן טעם מדוע לא יצורף מתורגמן מקצועי לשפות עברית-ערבית לוועדות הפועלות ליד הביטוח הלאומי לגבי תביעות של תושבי מזרח ירושלים לקצבאות נכות (כולל ועדות רפואיות וועדות אי-כושר). ביום 13.3.2014 הוצאנו צו על תנאי. בתשובה שהוגשה על ידי המשיבים ביום 22.5.2014 נמסר כי אכן הוחלט להעסיק מתורגמנים מקצועיים (באמצעות חברות תרגום) בוועדות העוסקות בתביעות של תושבי מזרח ירושלים לקצבאות נכות, וזאת כאשר התובע יודיע כי הוא מעוניין בנוכחות של מתורגמן. המשיבים אף מסרו בתשובה כי בזימונים שיישלחו לדיוני הוועדות תופיע חותמת בערבית בה יוסבר לתובע כי אם ברצונו בנוכחות מתורגמן עליו להודיע על כך למוסד לביטוח לאומי. המשיבים מסרו, כמו כן, כי לפי הערכתו של המוסד לביטוח לאומי המהלך האמור יושלם, לכל המאוחר תוך ששה חודשים.

2.רשמנו לפנינו את ההתחייבויות שבכתב התשובה. ברי, כי נוכח עמדתם העדכנית של המשיבים כאמור, העתירה התייתרה. ואכן, העותרות מסרו בתגובה מיום 2.6.2014 כי הן מבקשות למחוק את העתירה וכן הן ביקשו כי ייפסקו הוצאות לזכותן.

3.מתיאור הדברים עולה כי העתירה השיגה את מטרתה. בנסיבות העניין זכאיות העותרות כי ייפסקו הוצאות לזכותן.

4.העתירה נמחקת איפוא. המשיבים יישאו בהוצאות ובשכר טרחה בסכום של 15,000 ש"ח.
