Adi Menachem Yona was born on 17 April 2004 in Jerusalem and grew up there. His family is Israeli and Jewish.
He joined the Beitar Jerusalem youth academy at age 9. In the 2021/2022 season he moved up to the senior team. He made his senior debut on 19 December 2021 in a State Cup match against Hapoel Afula, and his Premier League debut on 8 May 2022 against Hapoel Hadera.
He scored his first goal on 3 April 2023 in a 2-0 win over Hapoel Haifa. He started the 2023/2024 season as a regular starter and finished it with 6 goals and 6 assists. With Beitar he won the State Cup in 2022/2023 and the Toto Cup in 2025/2026.
He was part of the Israel Olympic squad at the 2024 Paris Olympics, mostly as a substitute. He has also played for the Israel under-21 team.
