Arlozor Lev was born in 1933 in Kfar Bilu

Lev was born in 1933 in Kfar Bilu to Leah and Nehemiah, who were among the village's founders. He was the first child born in the village. He was named after Haim Arlosoroff, who had been murdered a few months before his birth.

As a child he worked on the farm. He studied in Rehovot and finished his schooling at the Kadoorie Agricultural School. From 1968 he studied economics at Bar-Ilan University, specializing in agricultural economics.

He joined the Nahal in 1951 and finished flight school in 1953. After a low prank flight hit the car of Baron James de Rothschild, Chief of Staff Moshe Dayan dismissed him, but let him return to flying about a year later. He flew in the Sinai Campaign and the Six-Day War, and as a wing commander he began collecting old aircraft that became the basis of the Air Force Museum.

In 1970 he became commander of Ramat David base. On 9 October 1973 he volunteered to join a Skyhawk attack near Port Said, and his plane crashed over the Mediterranean on the way back. He was declared a fallen soldier whose burial place is unknown. He was married to Tali and had 6 children.

In 2007 he was given the rank of brigadier general. Devorah Omer wrote a biography of him.
