Efrat Dor

Efrat Dor was born in 1983 in Beersheba

Dor was born in Beersheba on 6 January 1983 and grew up in nearby Omer, in a family of Polish Jewish descent. Her parents were a writer and an engineer, and she has three siblings. Her grandmother survived the Holocaust.

She studied drama at Eshel Ha'Nasi high school and trained in ballet at a dance school in Beersheba. She studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York and at the Beit Zvi School for the Performing Arts.

She began with small television roles and became known in Israel in 2010 as Shir Ambar in the drama Asfur. Her role as a police officer in Achat Efes Efes earned her a 2012 Israeli Television Academy nomination. She later appeared in films such as Bananas, The Zookeeper's Wife and Holy Lands.

In 2019 she joined the American series Mayans M.C. and Sneaky Pete, and in 2020 she joined The Flash as Eva McCulloch. She lived in Los Angeles from 2018 and later settled in Neve Tzedek in Tel Aviv. She has a daughter and a son from her marriage to director Moshik Maimon, and married actor Gal Amitai in 2026.
