Elena Ralph

Elena Ralph was born in 1983 in Donetsk

Elena Ralph was born on November 27, 1983, in Donetsk, in Soviet Ukraine. Her parents were engineers, with a Christian father and a Jewish mother.

In 2001 she moved to Israel alone through the Jewish Agency's Students before Parents program. She settled in Ramat Gan and began learning Hebrew. She later studied sociology at Tel Aviv University, and management and political science at the Open University of Israel.

In 2005 she won the Miss Israel title and competed at Miss Universe 2005 in Bangkok, Thailand. Her placement there was Israel's first since 2001. She then worked as a spokesmodel for the cosmetics company Sabon Calm and appeared in campaigns for brands such as L'Oreal, Wella and Naf Naf.

In 2009 she took part in the first season of the reality show HaMerotz LaMillion with Liran Kohener, and they were the first team eliminated. She is a partner and designer in the Ralph jewelry company at the diamond exchange. She also volunteers for the Jewish Agency and Keren Hayesod.
