Eliezer Mizrachi was born in 1945 in Rehovot

Mizrahi was born in Rehovot on 19 April 1945, during the Mandate era. His parents were Ya'akov and Haviva, and his father was a Knesset member for Agudat Yisrael.

He studied at the Chabad yeshiva Tomchei Temimim. He worked as a diamond polisher.

In 1988 he entered the 12th Knesset on the Agudat Yisrael list. In 1990 he was one of 2 members who stayed away at the last moment and blocked the move known as the dirty trick, following a demand of the Lubavitcher Rebbe. He then left the party, formed a one-man faction called Geulat Yisrael, and served as Deputy Minister of Health in Yitzhak Shamir's government.

He lost his seat in 1992 when Geulat Yisrael did not pass the electoral threshold. He later ran in Likud primaries, reaching 35th place before the 1996 elections without winning a seat, and ran again in a later Likud primary without success. As of 2012 he headed a kollel in Rehovot, and he was married to Shoshana until her death in 2024. They had 9 children.
