Guy Davidson

Guy Davidson was born in 1977 in Israel

Guy Davidson was born in Israel in 1977. He is married and has 4 children.

He joined the IDF in 1996 and finished flight course number 137 in 1998 as a fighter pilot. He flew F-15 Eagle jets in 106 Squadron. In 2009 he became commander of the basic fighter squadron at the flight school.

In 2012 he was promoted to lieutenant colonel and took command of 117 Squadron, the First Jet Squadron. He later headed a branch in the attack department at Air Force headquarters, and in 2016 he took command of the Hammers Squadron. In 2018 he became a colonel and head of the air attack department in the Air Operations Division.

In August 2021 he was promoted to brigadier general and named commander of Hatzerim Airbase. He left that post in September 2024. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the College of Management and a master's degree in political science from the National Security College.
