Michael Kadosh was born in 1940 in Alexandria

Kadosh was born in Alexandria, Egypt, in 1940. He moved to Israel with his family at age 9 and grew up in Jaffa, near the Bassa stadium. Hapoel Tel Aviv's youth coach turned him down, so he began in the youth section of Gadna Yehuda.

He played as a goalkeeper. After a year at Maccabi Jaffa he joined Hakoah Tel Aviv, which later merged into Hakoah Maccabi Ramat Gan, and he won the 1965 title and the 1969 State Cup as captain. He then won titles with Maccabi Netanya and Maccabi Tel Aviv and retired in 1976. He was in the wider squad for the 1970 World Cup but never played for the national team.

He began coaching right away at Hapoel Lod and went on to coach many clubs, taking several of them up a division. With Hakoah Ramat Gan he won the National League Toto Cup, and he reached State Cup finals with Shimshon Tel Aviv and Hapoel Be'er Sheva. He also coached Hapoel Jerusalem twice, winning promotion each time.

In 2013 he coached Hapoel Ashkelon and kept the club from relegation. He died of cancer on April 29, 2014. He was married and had 5 sons.
