Moshe Sinai was born in 1961 in Israel

Moshe Sinai was born on 22 February 1961 in Jaffa. His parents, Rafael and Alice Sinai, came to Israel from Egypt in 1950.

He came up through Hapoel Tel Aviv, spent 1 year at Maccabi Jaffa, and returned to wear the number 7 shirt. He captained the club for about a decade and won league titles in 1981, 1986 and 1988, plus the State Cup in 1983. He was named Israel's Footballer of the Year in 1981 and had a trial with Manchester United in 1985.

After Hapoel dropped to the second division in 1989, he joined Bnei Yehuda and won the 1990 title with them. He then returned to Hapoel as player-manager and scored the first goal at Teddy Stadium in 1991. He retired in 1993 with 375 appearances and 102 goals in the first division, and he holds Hapoel's club record of 72 assists.

For Israel he made 47 appearances and scored 7 goals between 1981 and 1990. As a coach he led Hapoel Tel Aviv until 1997, then Maccabi Petah Tikva, Hapoel Kfar Saba and Israel's youth team. From 2004 he assisted national coaches Avram Grant and Dror Kashtan, and he later coached Maccabi Herzliya and again Maccabi Petah Tikva, which he took back to the Premier League in 2013.

He later became director of football for Hapoel Tel Aviv.
