Zoosman was born in Kfar Saba on May 12, 1998, to a Jewish family, and grew up in Netanya. His grandmother survived the Holocaust and came to Israel in 1943 with the Tehran Children. He was named Yovel, the Hebrew word for jubilee, because he was born 50 years after Israel's independence, and he wears the number 50.

He played in the Elitzur Netanya youth team, and his father, a basketball coach, trained him. From 2015 to 2017 he was part of the Maccabi Tel Aviv academy.

He made his debut with Maccabi Tel Aviv in 2015 and spent the 2016 to 2017 season on loan at Maccabi Ra'anana. Back at Maccabi, he won Israeli titles and was named the league's Defensive Player of the Year in 2020. In 2019 he played for the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Summer League.

In 2021 he joined Alba Berlin and won the German championship and cup in 2022. In 2023 he signed with Hapoel Jerusalem and was again named Defensive Player of the Year in 2025.
