13. כפיית טיפול או המתה
(א)נוכח הממונה או רופא וטרינר עובד ציבור שהמנהל הסמיכו לכך, כי בעל חיים חולה או סובל, ואינו מקבל טיפול רפואי הולם, רשאים הם להעבירו למתקן מוגן או לצוות על המתתו, הכל לפי מצבו הרפואי.
(ב)המתת בעל חיים תבוצע תוך מניעת סבל מיותר והבעלים או המחזיק ישאו בהוצאות ההמתה.
