Here is the full text of 5,991 Israeli laws, regulations and orders.

Each text has a page with its sections, its publications and a link to the official source, and each section of a law has a page of its own.

These are the 40 texts that other texts point to most.

Every text is listed under the first letter of its subject, after the word law, regulations or order.

These are the kinds of text listed here.

These are the questions people ask about the laws of Israel.

Where do the texts come from?

They are adapted from the Open Law Book of Hebrew Wikisource, a free collection of the laws of Israel, as it stood on 1 November 2026. 5,991 texts have a page here.

Is this the official text of a law?

No. Each page is an unofficial copy, and the text the official gazette published is the binding one. Each page lists the publications of its text, with a link to the official file where there is one.

Which texts are left out?

Single decisions, permits, licences, agreements, lists and internal procedures are not laws, so they are not here. A text the source marks as repealed stays, listed apart on the page of its letter.

How is the address of a section worked out?

A section's address is its number in Latin letters, so section 4א is 4a and section 19 is 19. The same number always gives the same address.

The texts are adapted from the Open Law Book of Hebrew Wikisource, read on 1 November 2026, and are shared under the CC BY-SA 4.0 licence.
