Sasson Shaulov went from covers on TikTok to the song of the year on Galgalatz

Sasson Ifram Shaulov was born in 2002 in the Bat Galim neighbourhood of Haifa. For years he worked at petrol stations and made coffee at train stations, he tried out more than once for HaKokhav HaBa and The X Factor without getting past the auditions, and he started out by posting covers on TikTok.

His breakthrough came in January 2023 with Mashehu Amiti BaEinayim, which reached the top five of the charts, and Bo'i Nedaber reached No. 6 later that year. His debut album, Gan Eden Shel Meshuga'im, came out in August 2024, his second, Tamid Same'ach, in March 2025, and the mini-album HaKol Alai in October 2026.

His September 2024 cover of Yair Elitzur's Tamid Ohev Oti reached No. 1 on the Hitlist chart and was named song of the year on the ynet and Galgalatz annual chart for 2025. In March 2025 he played his first shows in the United States, starting with a sold-out concert at The Town Hall in New York, and he has recorded duets with Odeya, Eden Hason, Amir Benayoun and Itay Levi.
