Nasrin Kadri sang in Arabic in small clubs before winning a TV talent show in 2012

Nasrin Kadri was born in 1986 and grew up between Lod and Haifa, in an Arabic-speaking home. She started out singing in Arabic at clubs in Jaffa and other towns, and her breakthrough came in 2012, when she won the second season of the TV talent show Eyal Golan Kore Lach, sharing first place with Maor Ashual.

Her debut album, Nasrin Kadri (2014), carried the hits Hayati, Al Telech and Ata Ose Li Tov, and with the Israeli Andalusian Orchestra she sang the concert series Umm Kulthum Forever, also released as a live album. Bnadik (2016), Lomedet Lalechet (2018) and Cholemet (2023) followed. She sings in Hebrew and in Arabic and often mixes the two.

She was a judge on Beit Sefer LeMusica in 2015 and on The Voice Israel in 2019, played in the musical Sulika at the Beersheba Theatre and in HOT's thriller series Jerusalem, and in 2023 her own docu-series began on HOT. In 2024 she released the EPs 2024 and Takshivu Tov, and in April 2026 the EP Yahalom Ma'abada.
