Frequently asked questions

How many parties are in the 26th Knesset?

11 lists won seats in the election of 27 October 2026. Some of them are joint lists of several parties, such as Together (Bennett 2026 and Yesh Atid) and the Joint List (Hadash, Ta'al and Balad).

What is the electoral threshold in Israel?

A list needs at least 3.25% of the valid votes to win seats in the Knesset. A list under the threshold wins no seat, and its votes are not counted in the division of the 120 seats.

Which lists ran in 2026 and won no seat?

The Reservists won 2.73% and Amcha Yisrael 1.68%, both under the 3.25% threshold.

Why do Israeli parties run on joint lists?

Small parties join forces so that their votes pass the threshold together. Yamina, the Union of Right-Wing Parties and the Joint List were lists of this kind, and each party's page here shows the list it ran inside.

The seats and votes are the Central Elections Committee's. The committee's results
