Pinat Ohel is the sandwich shop Hai Helbaron opened at the end of 2015 on Ringelblum Street in Shchuna Dalet, in Beer Sheva, the city he grew up in. Time Out wrote in January 2024 that it began as a small stand that sold a few sandwiches a day and became a hit with Ben-Gurion University's students, and Walla wrote on 1 October 2026 that he set it up for hungry students as a place for good food that would also be a community meeting place. As Time Out's headline put it, there is nothing here but the sandwich: the meats are seared on the plancha with caramelised onion and go into house bread baked for it, with spreads made on the spot, among them beetroot and raspberry, cucumber and garlic, and peach with whisky, and, Walla wrote, he slips a piece of fruit, usually pineapple, in at the end. Walla listed half and half, with goose and brisket; roast beef, corned beef and beef shoulder; and a mix of honey pastrami, pepper pastrami and beef pepperoni, at 50 to 58 shekels a sandwich, and mako and Time Out wrote of an omelette or portobello filling for vegetarians. Walla headed its entry "the best meat sandwich in the city, and perhaps in the south", and mako counted it among Beer Sheva's institutions in 2025 and again in its street-food list of 2026. When Walla wrote about it in 2016, it was full for most of its opening hours. It shares its address, 15 Ringelblum, with the Indian restaurant Little India, and Time Out reported in January 2024 that its first branch outside Beer Sheva had just opened at 5 Florentin Street in Tel Aviv.
