A Georgian bar and kitchen in Beer Sheva's Old City, with a small pub room, a large yard with hookahs, and khachapuri and khinkali made on the spot

ChaCha Bar is a Georgian bar and kitchen on HaPalmach Street in Beer Sheva's Old City, at the corner of HeHalutz Street. Its owner, Vano Glori, founded it, as mako told it in October 2024, to give people of every age a bar and a restaurant in one, in the spirit of the Georgian kitchen, and its ordering site sums it up as an authentic Georgian kitchen and a cultural, social pub. Israel Hayom described it in February 2025 as two places in one: a tiny, intimate pub inside with two and a half tables, and a very large yard with big tables and a hookah bar, where some come to smoke and drink and others for the food; mako described the room as a village hut with old, authentic decor. Glori and his family make the dishes by hand, Israel Hayom wrote, and he makes traditional Georgian liqueurs on the spot, served beside Georgian wines and draught beer. Its menu runs from round khachapuri such as imeruli and megruli, at 45 to 59 shekels, and boat-shaped ones such as the adjaruli, with an egg and butter, at 50 to 65, to khinkali dumplings of beef and lamb, at 49 for five and 89 for ten, lobio bean soup and lobiani, Georgian salmon with tkemali plum sauce, a chocolate soufflé and walnut-filled sweet cigars, with bottles of Georgian red wine at 79 to 85 shekels. It opens every evening of the week, from 17:00 on Sunday to Thursday and from 18:00 on Friday and Saturday, and, as mako put it, late at night it turns into a busy bar playing music from all over the world. Israel Hayom put it on its 2025 list of ten places to eat, drink and go out in Beer Sheva, and mako's travel section recommended it in 2024 and again in July 2026. In 2025 its sister, Beit HaKhachapuri, opened at 53 HeHalutz Street, a Georgian restaurant that mako called the dairy, kosher version of its neighbour ChaCha.

Sources disagree on these hours

These are the hours on its own ordering site, where pickup orders close at 23:40. Israel Hayom printed 17:00 to 01:00 every day in February 2025, and mako wrote in October 2024 that it opens every day at 18:00 and stays open into the small hours. Its Google listing, as Wanderlog copies it, gives 11:00 to 01:00 from Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 to 17:00 on Friday and 18:00 to 01:00 on Saturday. The city's tourism site gave Monday to Saturday, 16:00 to 02:00, in 2021, and d.co.il lists daytime hours that are not the bar's.
