Achziv Winery is a family boutique winery in the artists' workshops of Kibbutz Gesher HaZiv, founded in 2005 by the painter and winemaker Mark Guberman. It makes red wines only, from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petite Sirah and Shiraz grapes grown at Moshav Sifsufa, the Ben Zimra vineyard and Ramot Naftali, picked by hand and aged in French oak barrels, along with blends of the three main varieties and a dessert wine called Impresion. Its site says visits are by arrangement, from 10:00 to 14:00, Saturdays and holidays included: a tasting of the wines with a cheese platter and fresh pastry, a tasting workshop with three wines, or a bottle to drink on the spot. It also makes bottles with a personal label and photograph for gifts, and there is a picture gallery at the winery.
