A beach bar, cafe and restaurant on the sand of Dado Beach since 1993, quiet in the morning and a loud pub at night

Camel has stood on Dado Beach in Haifa since 1993, facing the sea, the waves and the sunsets, and its site calls it probably the longest-running hangout in the city. Part of it is wooden tables and comfortable chairs and part is lounge corners with hookahs and piles of cushions, under chandeliers and hanging fabrics, with a wood stove in winter. The music is quiet in the morning, chilled at sunset and pub-like and loud at night, and it holds shows from time to time. The menu mixes Israeli dishes with fusion ones, from breakfasts and shakshuka through hummus and sandwiches to grilled meat, beside cocktails, draught beer and a litre of sangria. It hosts events for up to 100 guests.
