Cafe Lumiere is a kosher dairy café on HaPalyam Boulevard in Haifa's lower city, in the government quarter by the courts, about 90 metres from the Carmelit's Downtown station. Debbest listed it among the kosher places that opened in the north in 2025. Its founder, Diana, told the Russian-language news site haifaru.co.il in January 2026 that it is a family business, and her daughter's café. She described a kosher dairy café with a European mood and a short menu of breakfasts, sandwiches, quiches, soups, salads and desserts, with coffee chosen with care and a range of teas; the desserts are what guests like most, she said, and they are her own recipes: carrot cake, tiramisu and strudel. The street is not a tourist one: around it are the courts, offices and government buildings, where many lawyers work. People come for business meetings, company breakfasts and small celebrations, to work on a laptop or to sit quietly over a coffee, and she said prices were set within reach of the offices around. Its entry on the Haifa tourism site describes a quiet, family atmosphere inside and on its balcony. It is open from seven in the morning until five on weekdays, until two on Friday, and closed on Shabbat, and in the evenings it hosts small private events.

In January 2026 its founder gave haifaru.co.il the same weekday hours and Friday from 07:00 to 14:00, said the hours were still being tried out, and said that after 17:00 it hosts private events. d.co.il gives Sunday to Thursday 07:30 to 19:30 and Friday 09:00 to 13:00.
