A Haifa coffee roaster since 1941, with its roasting plant, taste labs and visitors' centre in Hutzot HaMifratz

AVA Coffee is a Haifa coffee roaster whose compound stands at 34 HaKitor Street in Hutzot HaMifratz. Its site tells how it began in 1941 in a small shop on Palmer Square in Haifa, founded by two friends, the late Otto Reiner and Aharon Feldheim, who soon became a source of knowledge and shaped AVA's coffee flavours. The old shop has grown into a compound devoted to coffee, with a modern roasting plant, taste labs, a visitors' centre and customer service. AVA buys from five growing regions around the world, sorts, roasts and tastes its beans, trains cafe teams, and now sells its blends to coffee lovers at home too, among them a Wood Roast line of pure arabica roasted over a range of woods. Its factory shop is in the same compound, and its site gives Sunday to Thursday, 08:00 to 17:00, beside the phone line and the shop address.
