Its site says it believes good ice cream must be made on the spot by people mad about ice cream, and tells its founding story: a young man from a family of gelato makers in southern Tuscany who went to study ice cream in France, and a young woman from a family of Belgian confectioners whose waffle shop had passed from one generation to the next for over a century; one evening his ice cream spilled onto her waffle. Its menu runs from scoops and milkshakes to Belgian waffles, crêpes, pancakes and churros. The Kiryat Haim branch opens Sunday to Wednesday 11:00 to 23:30 and Thursday to Saturday 11:00 to 02:00.
